Domestic roaming occurs when your mobile device connects to a third-party network in areas where Cricket customers don’t have access to the Cricket/AT&T network in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Cricket works with other network providers to overlap coverage, ensuring customers have access to wireless service in these areas at no extra charge.

Cricket customers who are roaming on one of our many third-party networks will see a change on the top left corner of their device from “cricket†to the roaming network name or just the word "Roaming."
Cricket uses other carriers’ networks and private networks in specific roam zones to fill coverage gaps for customers.
